BLUMOON SCENTS STUDIO

BluMoon Scents Studio is a local fragrance shop and studio located in Upper Kirby, Houston, TX. Their bread and butter are candle making classes but they also offer classes on oil perfumes, soaps and body butters. They can also be hired for private events such as birthdays or corporate gatherings. After a consultation, I was tasked with finding affordable, durable, high quality items that would not only elevate the experience of the clients of BluMoon, but that were also inviting enough for other guests, as the studio space is also rented out for private events that are not BluMoon related. My work below represents a proposal, as this was simply a consultation to get the client’s imagination working on potential cosmetic changes to the studio. All proposed changes are also renter friendly, if the client ever moves to another space or wants to upgrade or change anything - it shouldn’t be a hassle for the client or contractor to do the work. Not including the designer’s fee, the estimated cost of this project is under $10,000. This does not include other fees such as taxes, shipping, or contractor’s fees. If the client chooses to implement anything below, procurement is their responsibility, unless negotiated otherwise. This proposal includes item sourcing, collages, a floor plan and 3D renderings completed with the use of Revit and Enscape. The design offers a simple color palette consisting of black, off-whites and BluMoon’s signature blue. Here, the focus is on the details - primarily the wallpaper, which adds personality without being overpowering. Other fun elements like accent lighting and wall art are added provide movement and curiosity to the space.
